Gleamstone Events Ltd is committed to making the RUNIFY website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe inclusion extends beyond race day — it starts the moment someone visits our site.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of runify.co.uk to ensure everyone can register, find information, and engage with our community with ease.

What Web Accessibility Means

An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the same or similar level of ease as other visitors. This is achieved through accessible design practices, assistive technologies such as screen readers, and adherence to recognised accessibility standards.

Our Accessibility Adjustments

We have worked to adapt this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines to Level AA. The following measures have been implemented:

• Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve potential accessibility issues

• Set the language of the site to English

• Defined a clear and consistent heading structure across all pages

• Set a logical content order on all pages to support keyboard and screen reader navigation

• Added descriptive alternative text to all images

• Implemented colour combinations that meet required contrast ratios

• Reduced unnecessary motion and animation across the site

• Ensured all forms including the registration and contact forms are fully accessible and keyboard navigable

• Made all downloadable files including the sponsorship prospectus accessible where possible

Event Day Accessibility

RUNIFY 10K 2026 is committed to being an inclusive event for all participants, spectators, and volunteers. On race day at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park the following arrangements are in place:

• Wheelchair accessible race route and finish line area

• Accessible toilets available throughout the venue

• Pushchair friendly zones and family areas

• Dedicated accessible parking — please contact us in advance to arrange

• Marshals and volunteers trained to assist participants with accessibility requirements

• First aid and medical staff available throughout the event
